Gorgeous location. Very unfriendly service. The best tables were reserved, but nobody came during two hours we were there. Forgotten to bring my tea and they actually didn't have black tea either.

What a lovely place to end a day of exploring ruins in the sun. I pushed my luck and ordered the „Blunzengröstl“ without knowing what to expect. Luckily, this blood sausage dish was a winner! 😁 But, to be honest, you couldn‘t go wrong no matter what I would have ordered. 👌🏼😊

We were sent away again today. Signs reserved everywhere. At first it was said there was no place, because in us a gentleman said we would go, we waited. When the waitress, who was very rude by the way, noticed that we were waiting, we were told that we would get nothing. We are also sure there was no reservation, it was just too much work, two waitresses and two in the kitchen, they were totally overwhelmed and sad

Because of the bad weather we were almost the only guests, but that wasn't a problem! The food came promptly and was very good too!In my opinion, this has nothing to do with a wine tavern, as there are also warm dishes! In my opinion, more of a restaurant than a wine tavern (Heuriger).But there is a great terrace right next to the vines!Certainly a dream in good weather!We'll come by again

I have known this tavern for over 30 years. Very romantic, delicious food. And especially very friendly staff. The view of the Danube is impressive. Not for wheelchair users or with baby carriages, since steps are available.

We were unlucky with the weather, it was cold and rainy ... then we entered the dining room and it was a pleasant warmth and the smell of Buchenscheiter in the fireplace.Food and waitress (Vorarlbergerin) were outstanding. Dogs are really welcome. Already at the welcome she had a bowl of water. We have been here for the third time and will certainly come back when we visit the Wachau.In combination with very good food ... what more could you want at this moment.Thank you for the hospitality.

After a hike we arrived here. A nice restaurant, friendly and quick service. The food visually great, but unfortunately all very bland to tasteless, especially the potato dumplings. Here was hardly spiced or flavored. Too bad.

Food very good to good, attention with the wine in bottles, we paid for 3 bottles of green Veltliner (0.75l) from the place = 18x 1/8 l each for 3, 20 €,a bit fierce, I think !!

Nice view of the Danube. Slightly windy on the terrace. At the weekend you should already book. Schnitzel from pig sufficient portion, lemon was missing, was brought without hesitation. Mixed salad was nothing special ...Fast service. Come again

I ordered a traditional food: pork with brown sauce, cabbage and noodles. It was heaven. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place itself so nice calm good to stop and spend some hours there.

A very nice tavern! If you like it romantic, I recommend being here as early as possible to get a table on the pedestal in the garden on the far right. As soon as evening falls, the view over the vineyards offers a special charm.The prices are reasonable in my opinion. The quality of the food and drinks very good and the staff very nice.Gladly again!

Very nice Heuriger well almost restaurant. The wine is very good for my taste. From the food I was particularly surprised, large and adequate portion for a reasonable price. Terrace beautifully designed great views of the Danube. A must for me if I drive through the Wachau again.
